The CSC plate explained

The CSC plate (Convention for Safe containers) of a container contains a lot of data about a container. New containers from the factory have an initial inspection for 5 years. After this period the inspection must be checked periodically for defects and if the container is found to be ok, a renewal of the approval will be given. The CSC plate is then provided with a ACEP (Active Continuous Examination Program). On this ACEP is shown how long the container can be used until the next inspection.
All containers used for international transport must have a valid CSC plate.
Box2Trade containers are delivered, wind-and waterproof with a valid CSC plate. If required we can provide on request (before collecting the container) a CSC statement.
